The Pulsation Series MP is a true microprocessor controlled instrument for precise and accurate metering control. With the Pulsatron MP Series 4-20mA output option you can control multiple devices from a single signal. Use the output from the first pump to run the second pump, which can be a different gallon per day or at a different speed. No additional flow meter, extra wire, calibration, or programming is necessary to connect multiple pumps together with the 4-20mA output option.
Why run two pumps from one signal?
- Plan for Normal vs Peak system flow rates: Pump #1 for normal flow rates and pump #2 for peak flow rates
- Pre and Post Treatment: Pump #1 for slug dose and Pump #2 for residual dose
- Two chemicals at different ratios
- Backup or Stand-by Pump
- If the pump installed is too big or too small to keep a higher speed or to keep up with the demand
The Pulsatron MP transmits a 4-20mA signal proportional to the actual speed of the unit, remotely confirm the pump’s speed is adjusting to your process parameters and more accurately estimate chemical usage over time using a PLC or MicroVision EX controller.
Nineteen distinct models are available, having pressure capabilities to 300 psi (21 bar) @ 3 gpd (0.5 lph), and flow capacities to 504 gpd (79.5 lph) @ 20 psi (1.3 bar), with a turndown ratio of 1000:1, with over 25 years of excellence there is a Pulsatron MP Series pump to fit your process perfectly.
